Naomi Marine is a visual artist residing in Salt Lake City, UT, with a practice based in drawing, sculpture, and installation. Her work is a philosophical engagement with the struggle of the individual to find significance in existence through the interrogation of perception, remembrance, and the constructs of linear time.
Naomi Marine received her MFA in Visual Studies in 2009 from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York and her BFA in Painting from Arizona State University in 2005. Marine teaches sculpture, drawing, and design at the University of Utah and Westminster College. Her work has been shown nationally and locally, including in Finch Lane Gallery, Rio Gallery, and the Utah Museum of Fine Arts.
